作者介绍：
Stephen Richards Covey was the author of the best-selling book, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". Other books he wrote include "First Things First", "Principle-Centered Leadership", and "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families". In 2004, Covey released "The 8th Habit". In 2008, Covey released "The Leader In Me—How Schools and Parents Around the World Are Inspiring Greatness, One Child at a Time". He was also a professor at the Jon M. Covey died at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on July 16, 2012, due to complications from a bicycle accident he suffered the previous April.

前面的话：这本书花的时间比较长，不是难懂，而是比较精细的阅读，如果你没有看过，我推荐你一定要看，这是一本从内到外改变一个人思维的好书。加上有几天晚上几乎睡不着觉，白天头痛难忍，对于有睡眠问题的人，真的好羡慕一觉睡到天亮深睡眠的人。从开始计划每周读一本书到现在，一直在努力集中精力，而且越读书越发现，书的很多知识，如果我10年前就知道这些道理，现在的我，应该不是这个样子了，所以培养读书习惯目前是一件很快乐很享受的事情。为了不分散精力，我戒掉了看手机，首先从公众号开始，基本不打开公众号，里面的内容几乎都是吸引你眼球的东西，读下来，对你根本没有用处。其次，我删了很多手机APP，比如Facebook，Instagram, QQ等，还关闭了微信朋友圈，代购号还开着为了发广告，但现在有了全职工作，已经不想再发广告了。我发现没有了这些分散精力的APP，公众号，朋友圈，我的时间更能把控了，专注做有意义的事情！
要改变现状，首先要改变自己；要改变自己，先要改变我们对问题的看法。
个人行为取决于自身选择，而不是环境。
大多数人的生活受到多种因素影响，可能今天以朋友为中心，明天又以配偶为中心。生活中心如此摇摆不定，情绪上难免起起落落，一会意气风发，一会颓唐沮丧。
公众领域的成功并非意味着压到旁人，而是通过成功的有效交往让所有参与者获利……一起实现单枪匹马无法完成的理想。
首先寻求去了解对方，然后再争取让对方了解自己。
