As well as being an invaluable anatomic review tool it also provides a basic but thorough guide to the clinical interpretation of imaging, the rationale being that one cannot interpret pathologic images without first having a working knowledge of the normal.
The third edition has been updated to reflect advances in imaging technology, particularly in terms of CT, MR and ultrasound imaging.
